HULL REINFORCEMENT

structural reinforcements to be installed in the panels to strength sandwich structure of the hull in some specific points (such as eye bolts, cleats, shrouds, stanchions, etc.), reinforcement angle brackets; structural reinforcements to be installed in the lamination of water skis, surf board, SUP, wakeboard, kitesurf, etc.

Applications:
Ideal to be installed as structural reinforcement in the lamination of the boat or in any other object derived from moulding process through manual or infusion method.
This product is made from sheets in different thicknesses easy to be shaped according to the customer requirement in order to get proper reinforcements properly drilled to allow resin transfer. In the infusion process this material has the advantage to be placed during the mould preparation in order to the laminate is already
In the infusion process, the use of this material offers the advantage of being able to be positioned during the mould preparation so, when the infusion is completed, the laminate is already prepared to receive the points of strength such as deck equipment or other components.
Typical applications are structural reinforcements to be installed in the panels to strength sandwich structure of the hull in some specific points (such as eye bolts, cleats, shrouds, stanchions, etc.) or reinforcement angle brackets.

Every single part is cut, shaped as required and numbered to be placed properly in the right position of the mould.
This approach brings considerable advantages, for example a significant reduction in machining costs such as the elimination of swarf and their disposal, and the overall optimization of processing times. The kits can be pre-drilled or pregrooved (see image) to simplify lamination operations both manual and with vacuum process and resin infusion processes.

FIBREGLASS SHEETS WITH THIN THICKNESS

Physical properties:
- Material: epoxy resin with glass cloth or glass roving
- Excellent toughness
- Good machinability

Applications:
Sheets with thin thickness from 0.5 mm are used as structural reinforcement in the lamination sheets of water skis, surf boards, SUP, wakeboard, kitesurf, etc.

This product is made from sheets pressed at 150 kg/cm2, in different thicknesses easy to be cut according to the customer technical specifications and requirements in order to get proper reinforcements laminates.
SPECIAL SANDWICH PANELS

shaped panels tailor made with special materials approved according to international standards such as E-45545 (e.g. locker doors, roofing for FLY, etc.), special floors and walls with high flame resistance required for example in passenger transport boats where high heat resistance is required.

Applications:
Sheets with thin thickness from 0.5 mm are used also as skin of sandwich paneling.
In these panels, the composite material can be associated with honeycombs (either with aluminum or with NOMEX®) or with foamed materials (PVC or PET).
Excellent result is obtained by the combination of these materials to the metallic honeycomb because it is nonflammable and safer than other materials.
In this regard honeycomb systems combined with the phenolic glass composites represent the solution adopted by construction industry and home furnishings against the thermal expansions of heterogeneous materials and against the more and more strict rules of fire prevention.
Moreover, railway, naval and land transport use also honeycomb systems combined with epoxy glass composites to reinforce and simplify structures and interior furnishings.
